Marcella Uliana is a Certified Ohashiatsu¨ Instructor. Originally from Italy, she landed in New York City 18 years ago after some traveling around the planet. The cosmopolitan make-up of the city made her understand more fully the interrelationship of all life and feel the responsibility of acting as a citizen of the world. Interactions with such a mixture of people, customs, ethics, and ideas, gave her the opportunity to explore fields unrelated to her previous training in industrial chemistry, and medical laboratory. Oriental philosophy, in particular, inspired her to live, nurture, and care for the body, mind, and spirit in a more natural, intuitive, and compassionate way; hence her approach, training, practicing, and teaching of Ohashiatsu.
Maureen Miller
Maureen C. Miller is a Senior Instructor with the Ohashi Institute. She has taught the Ohashiatsu curriculum courses and special workshops in the United States and Europe since 1987. Previously, Maureen was a professional dancer, teaching and performing with companies throughout the United States. She has also studied and practiced kinesiology, Aikido and Karate. For Maureen, her love of movement, Ohashiatsu, and the profound “poetry” of the five elements have join forces to create a powerful expression of life, which come through her teaching and private sessions.
Maureen has a successful private practice in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. She moves gracefully through her sessions with a smooth flow, utilizing a variety of dynamics and a soft yet, deep, touch.
Stella Fanzone
Ohashiatsu® has been an invaluable education to Stella since 1984 when she received her first session. Through private sessions and studying the Ohashiatsu curriculum, she learned how to keep a healthy, balanced perspective while navigating through the stress of everyday life, how to relax through three natural child births, and how to use these techniques to care for her family.
In addition to sharing her training and experience of practicing and teaching Ohashiatsu, Stella offers a unique perspective by integrating it with over 30 years experience as a health and fitness professional. She is a licensed massage therapist, a licensed dietitian nutritionist, and maintains certifications in other wellness disciplines.
In 2012, she created Bella Sinergia, LLC, an exclusive private studio dedicated to health and wellness, located in Glenwood, Maryland where she offers Ohashiatsu sessions and courses.
